This should be an easy question, but I admit that I am stumped. Which way does the air flow thru the radiator in the Rans S10 with the Rotax 582 and the radiator mounted below the engine? I am confused because the two scoops in the front of the cowl should create a high pressure inside and force air out thru the radiator. However, the radiator is facing toward the front (at an angle) and ram air might cause air to flow in the other direction? This is not a critical issue, I just wondered. Thanks. == George

It flows out. I spilt some 2-stroke oil on the radiator a while back and it soaked into the vanes. Every time I fly now a bit of it seeps out and runs down the belly of the fuselage, but the inside of the cowl is clean. QED!
