I almost flew a 503 S-6, back from WI.this past weekend, IM sure glad I didn't.
We are planning to have our first U/L meeting Jan. 20, I hope you can come. It will most likely be us same old farts.
Scott Severen will be there talking about old time Ultralighting, It would be great to hear the pro's and con's to each side of U/L verses Sport. I see Arty Trost, went through the process of becoming a Sport Pilot. She talked about the time and money it took mostly, as well as the overall hassle.
I sent a letter to the USUA board stating that, we should continue to fight for the Two Place Trainer Exemption.
I explained it like this: Get the Folks that say we don't need our trainers, and meet me at the airport on a gusty day, I will fire up an old Eagle and then let them explain why we don't need our trainers.
