Subject: securing engine to frame

I have seen some aerobatic airplanes with the engine physically chained to the frame. The issue is that if the motor mount breaks, the chain will keep the engine attached so the airplane may have some limited control. If the engine tears loose, the airplane will not be controllable.

Does anyone see a need for this in the Rans S9/10? Has anyone done this? Has anyone broken or bent an engine mount? Has anyone found cracks in the engine mount? Thanks.
