Subject: Re: Weight & Balance

I have a 670 installed (115 claimed HP). I also have a BRS installed that takes my CG back. My empty weight (as you described it) is 486. My worst CG situation is fat pilot and empty fuel. A couple of things
1.) are you sure you had the aircraft level as described when you did the W/B?
2.) if you have a header tank, I would make sure it has fuel in it when you do your empty weight as it has impact on real CG but is not accounted for in the standard WB.
3.) agree with earlier comment - if you really are still aft (behind 62) fix it. Otherwise, I would avoid doing anything aerobatic below half tanks. (I assume you are probably in a better CG situation with more fuel -but with your custom tanks, I can't verify.)
- additional thought - whereas your tanks are custome, I would probably do two different WB one empty and one with full fuel (maybe even pilot) - the published numbers may not be accurate for your aircraft.
