Hi,
The manual shows a rib lacing suggestion that is non standard and has
a VNE restriction. Standard rib lacing with the hidden knot would have
no VNE restriction, however I am concerned about lacing tension as a
result of dealing with round rib caps rather than the standard square
caps as found in most ribs. Will this "approved lacing system work? Has
anyone used the 1/8" fabric attach rivets as found in aircraft supply
catalogs, also an approved method. They would be easier and fast but
obviously require 1/8" holes in the rib at each location possibly
compromising rib strength. Any advise much appreciated. Thanks, Karl
