I fit I fit, I happened to pull into Oak Island NC today in my work plane and remembered there is an s9 for sale there so I asked around if anyone knew who Danny Bond was and they said sure he's over at his hangar so I went and found him and he gave me a look around and allowed me to climb aboard. This S9 was beautiful, custom aluminium tanks, hydraulic disk brakes, beautiful panel, it was a real work of art. He spent several months rebuilding it over the winter and did an outstanding job. I had full control stick movement and the canopy only just touched my head.
Unfortunately I don't have the funds right now otherwise I would have written him a check on the spot.
If anyone is interested he has it listed for sale on Barnstormers.com for $16000 i think.
Many thanks to Danny for his kindness today and if he can't get it sold in the next 6 months he may very well have a buyer in me.
If anyone could email me generic weight and balance numbers I would appreciate it, just to see what I could do to move the aiplanes CG far forward enough without me in it so i would be OK. My email is iainday25@hotmail.com.
