Tom Anderson, the guy that made my first video or two mounted one on his Rotax 447 engine used on his Starlight. It was a pain, but he got it to work. He has flown it to 16.000ft, flown it inverted, and thinks it works better than anything else he has tried.
On my trip to Sun-N-Fun last month we had a Jabiru 3300 with one of these and it scared the pilot half to death because it constantly surged and would not find a spot where it would not either run lean or rich without changing its setting. My conclusion was that it had a bad pressure regulator. My point is that if you use one of these carbs, at least spend some money and buy a decent pressure regulator that will maintain about 2 psi at all times. Remember, if you do not shut the fuel off it may just sit there and leak all your gas out. Starting will involve a different procedure too.
