Subject: Props and performance


Hi all,

Just wondering how different everyones performance is compared to
the Rans specs.

I have an S-10 powered by a 582 and with a 66x44 Tennessee Wood
prop.

My climb rate is 1200 solo, 900 dual initially, then it tails off to 800
solo and about 300 dual at altitude. This is at 15 degrees C.

Cruise is 85mph at 5800rpm and 100mph at 6200rpm.

How does everyone elses cruise and climb compare to these figures?

What props do you guys run and what do you recommend?

I am thinking of changing to a Warp drive for better performance.
