Subject: S-9 Seat height

Hey guys, any insight on maximum seat cable length? I made up new cables lowering the seat 1.5" to get more head room. The seat bottom does not touch the elevator push/pull tube but it's close. I haven't flown yet with it lowered. Is there a minimum distance? I will probably try tightening the seat webbing to add a little more clearence between it and the tube.
