If you want the best in rib atachment without the hastle? Hypec is a covering process available from Falconar aviation. It's a glue, sealer, and sun barrier,(silver) all in one.
I use only the sun berrier to seal and attach the fabric to the ribs. He sells glues and other products but I didn't like the glues he sells.
Absolutly NO stitch can give a beter attachment.
It's a bitch to get off to re-cover the wings but can be removed by rolling it and the fabric off the ribs with pliers. It is totally impervious to fuel, it creeps through the fabric and travels well on both sides. When it gets to a rib it forms a fillet of solution along the edge. No stitches no cover tapes Just a smooth surface.
Honestly, you will not get a better attachment.
By the way if you use it and get a drop on the bottom of the can, don't set it down with out wipping it off the can. You will not be able to remove the can from the floor without destroying it.
I have used it as an adhesive between two clean pieces of steel layed back to back. the bond was so strong I bent t he steel angle iron badly to get them apart. contact chris@falconaravia.com
