Gregg, After the 3. piston squeezing we decided to stop the project. The performance was great, climbing was about 2000 ft/min at 80 mph, at 120 mph we had still 800 ft/min. Our max RPM was 7.500 U/min. After some trial and error we achieved stable temperatures (EGT < 1.200F, water temp. was ~160F with a second radiator). The engine was running smooth, aside from a range between 3.000 and 4.500 RPM where the RAVE valves are moving. However, the reliability seems to low so we decided to change to Rotax 912S. Andreas
