Gregg, I think isn't a good idea to lock down the RAVE valves. They do a good job in this engine. If they opens, you get a kick... In our engine configuration the "kick" cames between 4.000 an 4.500 RPM. Idle was also very smooth (1.700..2500 RPM). You don't need the range between ;-) Andreas
