Hi Jeff, it's a good practice trying to get the EGT probe manufacturer data about your particular probe. He will supply data about the electric (ohms) resistance this probe must offer with respect to ambient termperature. (If it is a westach probe, they are on their webside).Check this anually (or any time a suspected change/value of EGT is observed) from the (disconnected) terminals at the gauge connection. A gradual increase of this resistance over time happens now and than, so be ahead of it. Best regards, Frans.
