Hi Gregg it sounds like you have got your hands full at the moment. The problem with the stock muffler refit is that you get tempted to snip just that little bit out of the centre of the pipe to make it fit, and it looks really good and you take it for a test run and it makes about the same power as your lawn mower. Dont ask me how I know ,it was embarasing. As for using a single carb settup I think that is a smart concept that has been used By Bob on his 670 though I dont think he uses that setup now . Anyway thanks for your input and I will stay tuned for your results as I am most interested on the single carb installation Regards Bish
